A Socratic question? Good, I will bite. We have those of the opinion to use military action because our major media sources have been promoting this escalation. People know what they are told. Of course, the same goes for the rest of the world, perhaps moreso. Sadly, hawks and muck merchants from all sides can find the archetypical foe to their cause from the other side of the line. You can read Haaretz magazine online and find Jews with wildly diverge opinions on Palestinian issues, but be assured that the Iran press paints all of Israel with the hue.

As far as this country being 1/3 full of retards, I disagree. Do not confuse passion with stupidity. Oblate the misinformation, and you might see a sway of opinion. Be mindful, diplomacy is best accomplished from a position of strength or with guile...... sigh.

we all know what his real legacy was supposed to be- Iraq and ousting Sadam.

but that didnt quite work out that way...so instead of resolving that conflict, he runs off to attack ANOTHER country and make an even bigger mess, in hopes tgat THIS time it doesnt fail, and everyone will see what a big strong man he is. the deficit is hitting a trillion, his country's burning, and spoiled little nero's still playing dress up with military clothes and trying to pretend he's a big man.

there are still some people that seem to think Bush is some kind of action hero, or "real man", but he's the opposite of that, a scared little boy puffing out his chest and hoping people dont see the truth.

We live in an age with no heroes save what we can fabricate. 2000 gave hope to a conservative agenda that was supposed to offer a stronger fiscally minded America. Im sure you are right for the most part but I can almost be sure that the same people that were touting the banner of war the first time for Iraq are doing the same thing again to goad people for our next big mistake. It has nothing to do with their being misinformed or disinformed. It has to do with their ignorance and stupidity. Thankfully I can see this time around even with all the misinformation a lot of people are not falling for the same ploy repackaged, but you still have a few devout sheep that are out there hoisting the banner of idiocy and mental retardation.

The rest not quoted, I do agree with. Above? Let me ask you, where do you suppose the media is getting it's information? Given that this administration is as good as it gets about leaking certain info, my guess is that it's not some smuck who's talking to Joe smoe reporter about what the military is up to.

In this case, I'm of the opinion that the info is planted in the media on purpose to serve a purpose. To let the commander in chief, chest thump and then blame the media for the information that's being carefully spoon fed to the masses.

That said, the leak thing isn't just something that Bush has done. It's been a tool for years for both sides of the coin. Those in power and those wishing to discredit those in power.

Also...the chest thumping isn't just a Bush thing in this case. Iran has announced that they are in the throes of enriching uranimum. Even though the word is that they are failing.

The enrichment is only at 3% which is probably good for power usage, maybe not even good enough for that. Weapons grade enrichment requires like 99%.
If you remember a while back our wise and honorable Rumsfeld formed a new division Office of Strategic Information and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of this was being done to get people behind them again through more lies and plays on words

we are 2nd largest country right after Russia,we have plenty of space even if we do have to move somewhere else due the radiation
We are concerned about the innocent people on both sides

Yeah I know. I saw it. The quality of the stuff was around 3%. Its kinda stupid if uranium is freely available in their country to not use it. If they are smart they already have oil locked up, they could sell enriched uranium since most countries are going nuclear and corner the market in both energy fields.Oil wont be there for a lifetime.
