Is it just me or Rogers fault. I live in Toronto. Since 03-07-2001 all kind of problmes happens.

1) Rendom disconnection within 24-36 hours of online

2) Is it just me or what. Plug my puter directly to modem(CyberSurfr) no go. Plug modem to Linksys router it connect to Internet for 48 hours and cut me off.

3) Called tech support everyday and gimme tones O'BS and exprince no problems in my area(Toronto)

I know Rogers@Home techs. don't know WTF their doing and I read alot of post bout Rogers@Home HELL.

Can someone clear me up on this problem b4 I switch to DSL isp. Image

1) That's @Home for you...

2) This won't work because your NIC inside your computer isn't provisioned. The NIC inside your router is provisioned.

3) Tell them so what, ask to speak to thier boss, and tell him to schedule a guy to come to your house and check it out. Don't be nice!

Well, it could be fixed. Might be faulty cable modem or bad cable line. Hate to sound like the @Home techs. :(

Have you scheduled a truck roll?

Loss of sync may be due to an other than optimal signal, or a loose connection, or noise, etc. Not just an outage.

Rogers@Home is known to suck a LOT. And also their tech support is known to be not so supportive :D . You may wnat to switch to Bell Sympatico HSE, it may be a tad slower but more reliable than Rogers@Home :D .
