you need to switch the primary monitor to your tv.

powerdvd will only play back on a primary viewing device, easy to do.

if i set primary to tv is it necessary for anything else or reason to switch primary back to monitor, would be kinda annoying to go back n forth but no biggie, at least i could watch dvds on tv now if it works, trying to narrow down on living room clutter, now if i could just find a smaller single replacement for my reciever and directv box

just now tried it and yes it does work, thanks however now my monitor refresh rates and resolution wont go no higher than 1024 at 60mhz, i think perhaps its now identifying my monitor as my tv? if i could fix that then i would have no reason to switch between the 2 and would be happy

well i just messed around with my card..
got this sweet setup.
set it to clone..so tv and pc are exact same..cept..when i play video's(WMP powervd whatever) the video goes onto the tv fullscreen yet stays in its window on the pc moniter..i can even minimize it on my comp and its still full screen on the ev(awsome)
all i did was turn video mirror under overlay controls..best of luck

desktop with wmp minimized playing byob
