So nasty

Post by Humboldt »

Putting away a shipment of supplies this morning when a guy from the neighboring pizza joint stopped by asking if I knew why it smelled sooo bad outside.

Thought a dying racoon or something had crawled into one of the drains.

Turned out the Korean place next door, which everyone assumed was a drug front since they were open maybe 10 hours per week, had been walked away from. As in, the owners just went home one day and never came back.

Weeks ago

The power was shut off 2 weeks ago and the stench was the rotting meat from their freezer and fridges. They left everything.

So bad the nail salon next door is canceling appointments, and the poor locksmith was seen vomiting in the back alley :D

If it smells like that on the outside .....maaan that's got to be just putrid inside. I feel sorry for the poor stiff that has to clean that up.

The landlord had to hire the locksmith just to get in the place. Not sure WHO they'll find to clean that up. The nail salon woman said there was liquid oozing under her walls.

Funny thing is, the owner's husband is a math professor at the local university. I'm tempted to call him up and ask him "WTF?"

Go in and pull the valuables and then give some of those homeless folks a job. You can see whether they really will work for food, considering every exit to the parking lot has some one with a sign saying they will ther should be a couple of takers

oh man....now that's gross...

Jerry: Boy, do you smell something?

Elaine: Do I smell something? What am I, hard of smelling? Of *course* I

smell something.

Jerry: What is it?

Elaine: I think it's B.O.!

Jerry: What?

Elaine: It's B.O. The *valet* must have had B.O.

Jerry: It *can't* be. Nobody has B.O. like this.

Elaine: Jerry. It's *B*.*O*.

Jerry: But the whole car smells.

Elaine: So?

Jerry: So when somebody has B.O., the "O" usually stays with the "B".

Once the "B" leaves, the "O" goes with it.

------

Kramer: What happened?

Jerry: What happened? My car *stinks* is what happened. And it's

destroying the lives of everyone in it's path.

Mmmm, a couple of weeks, and nice humidity plus locked up tight. That furniture is definately a write off, as are the curtains. There are special cleaning crews that deal with "unusual" cleanups. Yech, could'nt pay me enough.

Welcome to the neighborhood, eh? A disaster crew will probably be required to clean that place up....spendy...but worth every cent...I doubt he will get any volunteers for that one! They are equipped with masks, full protection suits, etc. for dealing with items such as this...would'nt be enough money in the world for me to tackle that! His losses will be heavy...that is for sure...if those smells permeate any plaster...or insulation...it is history! Major remodel on the way!

I would have been right beside him. lol

They should call in the police academy cops and wannabe coroners to come to the restaurant. It'll be good training and the next best thing to real as it gets.

Yeah yeah. Seems there were crews going around with gasmasks yesterday, hauling stuff out the back door.

Man. That smell is never going to come out of the walls there.
