The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

Oh man. :(

Such an influence, and very talented. My room mate back in college was very into him. I got to listen to quite a bit of his stuff, most people (like me at that time) don't realize how much he really did besides Werewolf.

I saw a deal on T.V. that he was recording some things with friends for a show to be shown soon because he knew he would be passing away. I don't know if it was supposed to be on Showtime etc or one of the music channels, but I wonder if they ever got the recording done. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so, do you have the info?

Don't know about any sort of documentary or the like that was being done, but he did finish up an album that was just released a couple of weeks ago: The Wind

Yeah. He was only supposed to live for 3 months, but made it a full year and was able to put out a final CD, which I have ordered. Here's to ya Warren!! Thanks for leaving us with your inspiring, humorous music.

Why? I really don't think it would be that bad. He certainly made good use of his last days in this chapter of the thing they call Life. It'd be kinda cool to be able to say goodbye to everyone and make sure that the things that are never said, are said.

Warren was a frequent Quest on the Dave Letterman Show over the years and appeared as late as a couple of months ago their.

Dave paid Him a Lovely Tribute last night on his show & Shafer played Zevon Tunes all through the night.

Warren was quite a Guy as well as a Great Musician imho & well deserving of the praise. :)
