TCP Optimizer Issues - Help Please :)

Hello, so I've recently tried out the TCP Optimized, I heard it was good for online games hit registration, so I gave it a shot.

After first through trial and error after testing lots of settings I found out that just setting it to 'Optimal' setting works the best (Duhhh, probably should have tried that first).
I was playing lots of BF3, and I noticed the hitreg was beautifully amazing, I just shoot 4 bullets and the guy would die in 4 bullets like he should. Who would have figured right?
Anyways, when playing I noticed people with high ping in the server rubber band hard on my screen.
I could just be noticing this for the first time, as many of the Germans get on late because their server are empty at this time, so it might be because of that.

That's not all of my issues though, when I do a speedtest my ping shows up as 45 when it should actually normally be 6-8, but the BF3 servers show up that I lose about 5-10 ping in most cases, after the fixes.
My download speed and upload speed have also lowered, so maybe it is just the router or ISP.

- Maybe my ISP is having a bad night?
- Maybe I need to restart my router? (If the problem continues I'll do this in the morning, I'm too tired to right now, and I'm sick so.... :cry :)
- Maybe speedtest.com is having a bad night? (Idk if that'd affect anything, but whateva.)
- Or... is there something I did wrong with the TCP Optimizer?

Any tips or suggestions are welcome, please help.

Thanks for your amazing program btw, I'm going to use it forever. <3

Ping: 6-8
Download: 98MBP/S
Upload: 60MBP/S

(Even though the ISP said 120/120MBP/S hehehe.)

You may want to try doing a traceroute to the game server, to see where there are latency spikes.. Drop to command prompt and type: tracert hostname.com (where hostname.com is the domain or IP of the server).

Latency fluctuates a lot depending on router congestion, time of day, etc. so it may be hard to pinpoint exactly, but you should be able to see where it increases. Rebooing a router sometimes works to clear its buffers, but a good one shouldn't require it.

The "optimal" settings in the program work well in most situations. Sometimes gaming tweaks may not be the best for speed/throughput, it depends what's important to you. You may want to look at this article if you want to continue playing with it: http://www.speedguide.net/articles/gaming-tweaks-5812

Hey, thanks for the quick reply.

So, when I went to bed last night and woke up this morning everything was completely fine, I guess the PC just needed a reboot.
Sense I have a post I do still have some questions.

What are the best custom settings for the TCP Optimizer when it comes to gaming?
I've watched YouTube videos and I noticed all of them were using older versions and they were on Windows 7, so their settings were different.
I'm on Windows 10, I'm basically just looking for the best hitreg possible, thank you!

I also have a Killer e2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller, I'm not sure if that matters, but just a heads up.

The article I linked above gives you a lot of recommendations you can fine tune the Optimizer's "optimal" settings for gaming. You've covered the basic tweaks already and many of those described in detail in the article simply by applying those "optimal" settings, there may be a couple that differ for gaming as per the article.
