    I'm assuming your using XP...

    Open My Computer.
Double-click the drive where Windows is installed.
Documents and Settings folder/Double-click the folder of a specific user/ SendTo folder.
The SendTo folder is hidden by default. If it is not visible, on the Tools menu, click Folder Options. On the View tab, click Show hidden files and folders.

Delete whatever entry you don't need.

Do the WinRar items appear in EVERY file type's Context Menu -- or just some files? If so, which ones?

I assume you already un-installed WinRar and it left these behind?

You will need to dive into the registry to get rid of these entries. What you are talking about is called a "Context Menu Handler Shell Extension". You just need to delete the one for WinRar.

This may be easier than you think. I am going to assume that WinRar appears in all file type's Context Menus.

    1) Open regedit.
    2) Drill down to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/* (not very far!).
    3) Click the [+] next to shellex.
    4) Click the [+] next to ContextMenuHandlers.
    5) Backup this section of the registry by Exporting it as a .reg file to your Desktop (File | Export).
    6) If there is an obvious entry for WinRar -- kill it.
    7) If these is no obvious WinRar entry, it may be entered by its Class ID number (a long string of numbers in braces). Don't delete those entries without coming back here first and letting us know what you found.

It is not a SendTo entry, it is a Shell Extension...

It's in the registry as a Context Menu Handler... but, whatever! Good luck.
