    I would get a diff mobo
    like Epox 8kha+ or EP8k3a
    but it will cost a bit more...

    you'll need a HSF and a HDD and NIC if you decide not to go with teh ECS board

    if ur not overclocking and using it for mainstream, its not a bad mobo. just dun expect TOO much out of it.

    hmmm, i thought Foxconn powersupplies were made by Allied. Could all just be a big chain. Not a bad P/S tho. Not a bad mainsteam computer.

    for HSF I would recommend a Volcano 7
    fairly cheap and a very good HSF still...

    Not a bad setup for an 11 y/o . Yes it has onboard nic and sound. I had it and it ran great. Not an overclocking board, but it's nice. Very stable. Your brother is really gonna enjoy it !
