    How do I network 2 computers

    Well, I got a cable connection and I like to build another pc and share this connection and files. What's the best way for me to do this?

    If you only have 2 pc's with no other network devices, uouse a corss over cable between them
    If you sharing a rounter to the web, you need a switch or hub

    actually your best and most secure way to share files and the internet with 2 PCs is a router...

    What are you trying to network?
    2 Linux boxes?

    j/k of course, but you'll get more responses if you provide more info what OS's you are using.

    The MS knowledge base has tons of info on how to setup a network to share a connection, and files/printers etc.

    Hehe....I plan to use xp on both. one box will constantly be on and the other I will personally use for my own works.
