I KEEP GETTING VIRUAL MEMORY TO LOW WHEN IM PLAYING GAMES IT SAYS I SHOULD INCREASE MY PAGE FILE THINGY.
when i go to the page file settings in WIN XP pro it has this

    DRIVE:C
    Space available 2646 MB
    CUSTOM SIZE IS TICKED
    initial size :192
    Maximum size :384

total paging file size for all drives
    minimum allowed :2mb
    recomended: 190mb

If you want to game with XP Pro.....get 512 megs. 128 is way too low for NT to game on.

Until then, up your min and max size. Apparently 384 isn't doing it...increase both in stages of 128 until the error goes away.

But def get more RAM. My XP Pro, while running Return to Castle Wolfenstein, uses over 500 megs of RAM while playing the Forest level. You want lots of system RAM for playing games, makes it nice and smooth, because system RAM is fast. If your system has to rely on virtual memory, you'll have slow stuttering happening while playing some games...because you have to take slow, tiny chomps at the hard drive's virtual memory while playing.
