Talking I've finally bought into materialism...

Since I start work tomorrow I figured I'd get a watch...

And then I figured since I have a job now I'd be tired at night and will want to watch movies...so I bought a cheapo DVD/mp3 player

    Finally!

Not too shabby a player for $100, now I can listen to my 60 GB of live mp3's on my Yamaha system

Bitch and moan, bitch and moan.

I mean really, would I say something like that about something you obviously felt so proud of?

Basically, its "formatting" a ~16x9 picture to fit a 4x3, cutting up to 40% or even more of the picture in the process. It destroys the cinematography and even the editing of the film, but its how most people see movies on TV, since they don't want to put up with the "black bars".
