it should read PCI to AGP, this is cool, but it will be limited by the PCI bus... But advantages are that u can take a newer card to older mobos
.....
no, it reads fine agp to pci, an AGP card to a PCI slot. it's logical. and yea, it's TOTALLY useless and WHY?
LOL, its not that useless. Hell if it came out like a couple of years ago, i wouldve bought one..Originally posted by Amro

Only real good usage I can think of is for multiple monitors, if you have a few spare AGP cards lyin around

useless?

Finally one can buy an AGP Video Card to upgrade the onboard video (for those that don't have AGP Slots)
dude this is great, my dad's mobo is all pci and i want my voodoo back, now i can stick him with an gf2mx and get my baby back! lolOriginally posted by TigerUpperCut

What's the most expensive purchase you've made on your miles/reward credit card? Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card Application
as for spare agp cards laying around, buying a 4MB pci would be less than the adapter..
as for it being useful to update onboard video? all of the advantages of an agp card are LOST when you strap it into that thing..so why not just buy a pci of the same thing? (but i suppose if u wanted a fake agp port just to say you had one it'd have a use) small chinese co's make 'high' end cards w/ pci form factor.. eh..i'm sure u could find a ti4200 in pci if u looked hard enough.. it really is useless..trust me hehe
