    xbox price drop

    wow, i thought it was just a rumor

    xbox is now $199 http://www.bestbuy.com/videogames/index.asp?m=937

    sorry if already posted....


    glad i sold mine before the price drop The guy i sold it to is kinda mad now lol

    Trying to keep up to Playstation 2 prices.

    Heck MS can afford to sell the xbox for $50 and steal all of the competition away.

    Now at least X box won't roll over and die in front of Playstation 2. If this is a good or bad thing i dont know (big picture anyway markets economys and such things). If only all those games would come down in price then i might consider considering a console problem with consoles is it is hard to burn games for them (or download them for that matter)

    They could, but it would be illegal. Selling the console at a loss to keep up with the other companies is one thing. SEVERELY undercutting them simply because they have $41billion in cash RESERVES and can take a large hit is something different.

    Xbox could very well be doomed by the hacks that allow their games to be duplicated.
