    Question hhhmmmmm....

    whats wrong with this picture?

Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6 A.M. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA).
After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day, Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL) poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in.....AMERICA.....

Joe needs a better resume and hit all the sites where he can post his resume online

    Then go out job hunting

Go to an employment agency if needed

    In all seriousness

I see what your saying though

It's just the way the world is

too much imported stuff now, not enough 'built in usa' bought items

    course this isn't every individual

but ya know, price dictates a lot, sometimes things from over seas are just cheaper and or better

    omitted from original draft
Joe Smith's real name is unpronouncable to the average American, therefore, prior to applying for his first visa he changed his name to Joe Smith. A few years later, having an extended educational visa, after marrying a young girl born in Ohio, he became eligible for US citizenship. Shortly thereafter he completed his graduate schooling. Unable to find employment, his wife began receiving welfare payments from the govt. and Joe got educational loans so he could work toward his doctorate degree. Baby after baby arrived and his education took a back seat to family life, which mostly consisted of collecting coupons, dodging the creditors and playing toss the empty in the trash can from greater and greater distances. Joe barely made it to bed last night and.......

Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN)

I'll tell you what is a trip. I had a guy bitching at me that I should have bought an "American bike" when he found out I rode a Ducati. Then he got in his Nissan Pathfinder, with a big Harley Davidson sticker on the back window, and drove away.

His "American bike" has Japanese electronics and forks, German tires and so on.

There is a percentage of foreign parts that a manufacturer can use, once they get higher than that percentage it has to say "assembled in the USA". At one point congress was trying to lower that number, if they did Harleys would have had to say "Assembled in the USA" instead of "made in the USA".

They are really nice bikes, but they are borderline "Made in America".
