Since I installed the 2 blowholes and fans, I've added 2 more small fans...I think 40mm in the rear panel, and cut some more parts of my case off for better airflow.

now i'm considering purchasing this window kit

does this kit seem good for the price and everything?

i've never installed a window kit before, what does the sealent do? I assume I'd just cut out a pattern out, and make the same pattern on the window, and on the case panel, then just form the rubber seal around the window and my case to complete the "molding" or whatever...

any tips? thanks again.

Look at the couple of pics of my case in this thread, there's also some instruction on how I cut the hole. What I did was buy some acrylic material from Home Depot. I cut it to size and cut a hole in the top of the case too. I used 3M automotive body molding tape that I got from Wal-Mart, to stick it to the case.

Just be careful when you stick the tape and the window on, when you stick that glass on, it is STUCK. Make sure the glass is where you want it before you stick it down.

A secret with working with some of that plexy-lucite material.
If you take and run a torch flame over a scratched or rough cut edge, it will change it to look like a glass factory edge!
(check it on a piece of scrap first, to verify that it works on your specific material and to give you an idea of how to do it... )
It takes takes a second. DO NOT hold the flame on it as it will melt!!! Just keep running the flame over the edge in a back and forth motion and you will see...

A guy I knew a long time ago worked in that profession and showed me the trick! He was the guy that made the lucite box covers for the metal mannequins that I had made for my client that was into baseball memorabilia seriously! (Remember the thread about powder coating? I had told the details there...)

I do what your talking about with my heat gun. If your going to edge light the plastic it helps it glow a lot better with the edges cleaned. If you don't have a heat gun, sanding it with 1200 grit sandpaper will do the same thing, only it takes a lot longer.
