Hiya Chief, the rats have...subsided for the time being.

Caught 3 in a row about 2 weeks ago. Not even during late night times, but duiring the day and early evening.

I'd hear them putting about (they like to gnaw on the electrical shock warning sticker on the power cord for my oven, go figure), set a trap, go back to the PC or movie or whatever, and 10 minutes later, SNAP!

I'd go over to make sure it got em, and there they were, kicking away. Bothered me a lot watching them die the first couple times, then I realized how gross they are and how much grief they've caused me and how much sleep I've lost listening to them running full tilt boogie throught the walls and it doesn't bother me so much.

I think most of them die instantly anyways when it snaps on the neck, and that the kicking is mostly nerves.

But yes, since then the midnight rustling has gone away.

Also, I finally bought a 20 gallon steel trashcan for my dogfood. Looks a bit crackery sitting in my living room, but works great at keeping the rats away from the food.

    Thanks

Hey TonyT, you must have a pretty thick shull if you thought that link was going to work.

I tried it and it didn't work of course, changed it to k and there it was. One of my favorite logos

I see you edited it to skull, though, nice quick recovery.

    Jerry in shorts??

    Hmmm, maybe '93 or '94?

Can't tell who's on the keyboard, that would be a determining factor.
