    Max Payne on Radeon 8500

When I play Max Payne, walls will suddenly disappear, Max's arms and legs will disappear at random and it looks like his jacket is walking around like a ghost, enemies can't be seen, I get huge doses of clipping, textures vanishing, etc.

I tried running the CPU back at stock speed, but no dice. I'm using the 6052 drivers, and both the 6037's and the 6015's give me the same results. Anyone know what could be causing it? Perhaps Max Payne + Radeon = bad mojo?

Sometimes it starts right after I load it, other times in the middle of the game. My temps are right around 43-44 C while running it, between 37-39 idle. V-Sync didn't seem to make any difference.

Usually those types of problems are driver related. I would try newer drivers from rage3d.com

Did you recently just change video cards? If so, you might not have uninstalled the other cards drivers completely and that could be causing your problems.
