    Packet Loss.....

    http://monitor.dslreports.com/tweak/...n2k&via=normal

Is that a bad percentage for packet loss? I remember when i first got my connection and it wasn't tweaked i got 100%... i think.

Drool, drool, those are best pings I ever seen, as for retransmitts, I pay no attention to that, take test again different, again different and so on, test looks great to me

    Retransmits are not packet loss

I think your doing great and if Lee wants to explain that above he can, Sorry I did not get back to you but was putting XP on another partition for practice purposes, do you have Optimizer installed, has ping test included in it, speed patch, whose, 200 times faster, we can do better than that

    "transfer rate: 917 kbits/sec"

On your tweak test, this was another concern, as well as the pushed data packet, where the retransmission of 12 packets occured. It could be that your cable wires are near other wires caasing the "signal to noise" ratio to go wacko. Ensure all cable wires are not near other wires. Also ensure your NIC card is seated properly, you have the lastest NIC drivers installed, and that all cable wires are screwed in tight. You do have great speeds though, but the retransmissions can be a pain when Internet browsing in general. Try lowering the RWIN if you do exhibit such retransmissions. High RWIN's do not increase packet loss, but they do exaggerate it. Download NET TRACE as well to see where the packets are being dropped. Might not be on your end. You could try and ping your gateway with large amount of packets to see if it is on your end.

OptKing , ignore that bs test at DSLR, it is purely based on internet traffic and congestion. Your speeds are tremendous even for OOL, just worry about raw speed - which you are getting ALL of it - ENJOY!

    Change it to 589840 ?
