    here is a really silly & functional power light

    I bought a $4 flasher kit

    it was fun putting it together

    drill the holes for the led’s in the 3.5” plate

    hot glue it in place

    it should look pretty cool!

    of course a clean adaptor with heat shrink tube

    all it’s gonna do is flash when my pc is on.

    and it’s done!another useless but fun mod, lol,,,all it does is an alternating flash.

    I guess I got bored and got a creative urge.

    instead of having it flashing constantly, wire it so that it flashes upon hard drive use

    thats a good idea! someone at another forum had a good idea too,they suggested hooking it up to my "nic" activity lights.

    Isn't that setup for 9V use? Won't running it at 12V harm those leds?
