    streaming vid

How do you do streaming on demand video so that when someone trys to watch it, it will detect their connection and play at the right bitrate for their connection?

I encoded a .wmv video at 1.45Mb bitrate. I want it so if someone with 56k watches it, it will play at 56k and if someone with a 1Mb connection watches it, it will play at 1Mb.

It is one of your options...you can select multiple bitrates before you encode. Just dig in there a little deeper.
