Radeon 8500 High Poly Count Bug may be a Hardware Issue and NOT a Driver issue

Look at Johh's .plan again: http://www.shacknews.com/finger/?fid...idsoftware.com

    Then read this thread: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?threadid=333711

i dunno, could be hardware, could be driver... an official word from ATI on this issue would be nice though, hope they answer

Well if most users don't get it, it wouldn't be the hardware but rather some minor software glitches in the game or the driver.
