sounds like a cool idea. whats this Rainblower?i've never heard of it before.
but just a suggestion for all you people with crazy heatsink mods on you videcards, why don't you get a "Rainblower" from Just cooler?
It's a copper frame that has two fan (varying on the model, I got a FC-910D, which also has varying CFM), which has 80cfm air movement, that blows air onto the gpu heatsink and core. And since I have the minion IMT-4000 with those side vents that can open, cool air is sucked in and blown onto the card, ram and gpu!! And since the air is very cool right now, it seems to be adding in lower my general CPU temps!

of the think, it is screwed in via the screws that secure the PCI cards.

it works pretty good and for those of you with a setup that is important to your airflow, I think this is helping with the air flow inside of my case, from bringing cooler air into the case and push over the video card's top, over to the motherboard and right to the near bottom of the heatsink, which sucks it into and is expelled out from the CPU and then out of the case exhuast fan![]()

There are many different ones out there. Do a search for "Card Coolers"
This one actually fits into a slot for added stability

mount it on top of the gpu, mabe stick a small 10mm high heatsink there, ahhhhh the ideas poor

what if u just make a vent over your agp/pci slots and add an extra exaust fan at the rear of your case and/or top....with the intention of cool outside air being drawn in over your agp/pci slots of course....could this help with overall case air circulation!?

lol no just some thoughts, if i find teh right heatsink a modded version of it may make it to my geforce 4 card i plan to get.

If your browser can't read unicode, you should probably switch!
i'm tired of holding out, but yes i do want it! lolOriginally posted by Qwijib0

It will vary depending a few factors, i.e, like how you have the CPU fan setup, if you have a case fan and if it's sucking out air or pushing it in, if you have a front case fan and if the original airflow of the case works to benifit the general cooling of the system, then yes. ;DOriginally posted by mvern2
