    My Amature Case 1800+ Athlon

    MY OUT SIDE JUST LIKE I SAID AMATURE

    MY NEW 24x10x40 CD RW

    THE INSIDE OF THE BEAST

    FROM TOP TO BOTTOM 32mb GEFORCE2, SOUND RISER CARD FOR REAR, 100/10 BASE, FIRE WIRE, THEN USB HEADER

    MY CHEAP SPEAKER

    CHEAP WOOFER BUT BADD BASS

    THERES MY MOBO VERRY GOOD RECONMENDED

    THIS A GOOD TEMP?

    I agree with Bala, clean up the cables and help the airflow. 96 seems a little high.

    i may buy rounded cables but there like 14 each i think tiger sells then for 10 bucks each

    the IDE Cables are only half you're problems..

    zip tie the power cables together and get them out of the way..

    another prob. you can't even do anything against is the crappy location of the power connector on your mobo..

    Ya that's definitley a bummer there. I have a similar "can't do much about it" problem with my boards RAM slots being directly in front of the fan for my processor (slot 1a Asus). If I use the closest of the three RAM slots I notice a dramatic drop in airflow coming out of the heatsink fins. O well just another one of those things that I never thought about when I bought my first bag 'o parts to build a computer. Next time thanks to speedguide I will be right on top of stupid things like this.

    Dude!! 96 degrees is kinda high. Try taking that damned rug off your case it may help aid in radiational cooling...or in laymans terms...it'll cool that beyatch down :P
