    #Newbie Question

    Where do I change windows display and sound schemes... You know like The 70's scheme, or sports etc etc..

    I havent used them for over a yr but did it for a friend and found it to be pretty cool again.. the thing is I cant remember where to change them.. lmao!

    Right click on desktop and select properties for display stuff, or Control Panel > Display. For sounds: Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices

    No not that.. i know how to do that... its an entire scheme that changes pointers, sounds, colors, sounds, wallpaper, and screensaver... Ill get you a pic

    that should be it, try under the control panel. I changed mine one time and forgot how to get it back, seems like that was the way i did it though.

    Windows 2000

    and I know you can change the sounds schemes etc exactly like you both have said but thats not it... The way I am talking about is like I said above... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    I will keep looking for info.

    Mike that sound right.. but i checked and I dont have the themes tab?

    I don't have themes either (XP Pro). There's not one screen that changes all those things..at least not with 9x/ME or XP. Control Panel has them all there though as I had mentioned above. Maybe you were using some tweak utility or something?

    PING with Win2k it may be something that needs to be installed. Go into add remove programs and select the windows components tab. Should be there.

    tried that already... my research led me to believe I need the Plus! software... but the odd thing is my friends comp had it and he has the same OS off the same disc as me.. err anyone wanna send me windows XP plus"? lol
