What HS/F solution do you currently own?

Thanks to my curious enthusiasm in computers, I'm now the proud of owner of three heatsinks! I only own one functional computer at the moment (have another sitting around in spare parts w/ a crappy hd waiting for it, with no monitor or case at the moment, but strangely enough I have a 300W psu for it!)

The first two heatsinks I own are both my Alpha!
The Alpha PAL 6035 (V2.0, no little feet on it! And the bottom is flat!)
And the Alpha PEP66! I just bought this today and have yet to test it out!

The final cooler I own is the Globalwin CAK-38, which currently peforms o.k considering how cramped it is in the case.
I might do a bit of testing to see how everything works out, but ahh, don't know how the cool will be. I don't own any thermal paste, but I think I'll go buy some in a few minutes.

I'd say the 54 idle is a bit warm....as I thought the XP's were supposed to run cooler, due to less voltage and stuff.

I have a OCZ Monster 2, aluminum with copper core heatsink and generic fan.....just sitting in my box of computer stuff now, then my OCZ Gladiator with YS Tech 7500RPM fan, currently used.

Then I'll be getting a CoolerMaster DP5-6I31A-A1 aluminum heatsink with generic fan....pumps out 27cfm of airflow...more than enough I think for my 550mhz K6-2.

I'm very happy with my vantec 9035d. Not very noisy for a 7000rpm fan and I've never gone over 120F.

SPIRE 5E27B3 with Sanyo Denki 60x60x2.5 mm , more than happy with it ..

Its a heat sing for AMD CPUs , and i use it on my PIII 1GHz .

The only good the AMD did to the Intel users is that we can easely find LARGE heat sings

I'm probably gonna follow you on the Volcano 7.....most people bash TT products, but they've always worked great for me, I can't count how many Golden Orbs I had do the job perfectly in all my Intel rigs. The Dragon Orb 3 that I have....keeps her ice cold, but at the price of way too much sound that even I can stand. The Volcano 7 I've read does a good job, couple of reviews I read took out that thermal sensor and just kept it going full blast....and it worked great.

I installed the new TT vulcan 7 on a friends computer and i was quite impressed with it....its very quiet at the slowest setting and was keeping his temps idle under 40c and maxed out about 47c. My friend wanted a quiet tbird so i recommended that one to him and he seems very pleased with it....not to mention that it only cost him $25 + shipping and looks pretty cool too.

You will be very pleased with that HSF. I have the mc462a which was an earlier revision and i love it.
