    when upload..download speed drop.

    hi does ADSL work like when u upload a file your download speed drop about from 38k to 10k.

    is that ADSL or is there some wat to fix it?

    Who is your internet service provider? Do you know what speed package you have?

    my internet provider is SBC GLOBEL
    the package is 384k - 1.5mbs / 128k

    Your upload is at it's maximum throughput. I'm afraid there's nothing that can be done. Sorry.

    Yes, your download speed will decrease when you upload. The TCP/IP protocol requires that an acknowledgement be sent for at least every other downstream packet received. These acknowledgement packets have to compete with the upload for bandwidth, and, more importantly, they have to wait their turnin the upload queue.
