Simply run adaware, spybot, ZoneAlarm, HijackThis, AVG, update windows daily, have a router, don't open e-mail, turn off action scripting, don't use P2P networks, don't violate EULAs, and wear a condom to get Windows secured.

People say Linux is alot of work!

I don't buy online. When I want something (computer stuff) I want it now and don't want to wait.

That's a good idea advertising good buy/service sites because it will help visitors coming here to find good places to buy parts and it will help Speedguide because of the advertising benefits/money you may receive for it...but keep in mind though that not all users here are American and a lot of those sites are virtually useless to non-Americans because they do not ship to Canada.

Like with Newegg, as good a site it is, it is basically useless to us Canadians because they don't ship internationally. You may want to keep that in mind if u do do the advertising...like make a note that it is only for Americans.

I mean, you guys do have the traffic and resources to pull this off and make it profitable, I believe. Plus it would mean that members that look for certain things would just go to the shopping directory, read through the small descriptions of what the sites are selling, selects a site, and buys, knowing they won't be ripped off, or something.

    Just an idea,

Good idea Ronald, I like that the best. It's easy to see how you froze those 6 moons with your wisdom.

I don't buy computer stuff that often. Usually it's something small that you can get where ever.

    newegg

ive probably spent aroung $1000 bucks there so far.

ive used them 3 times.....unfortunatley had to rma twice.

i give them a few more shots. they are on the ball as far as processing your order and keeping you up to date on where ypour merchandise is (wharehouse or on the truck).

that alone is a HUGE factor in my decision in continuing to use them.
