    Question Page File?

I know this is a dumb question, but I don't remember so here it is.
Would it be better to have your page file on a seperate drive or on the windows drive? I have a 30gig for windows and a 40gig for games. My page file is curently on the windows drive, but I have plenty of free space on each drive so moving it would not be a problem... thanx for the advice.

That doesn't make a difference that I know of, but drive speed does. Place the page file on the fastest drive. Make sure you defrag BEFORE you move the page file over though.

Benchmark each drive and put the page file on the fastest one for best performance.

Make it a permanent size. Max and min size should be the same to avoid having windows resize it all the time.

Ok thanx.... both of my drives are the same speed so I'll just leave it alone.
