    allows u to use 2 hard drives as one drive and makes that one drive faster, or can be used to backup one HD with another, best to use 2 of the same drives

    Redundant Array of Inexpensive Drives

    Can be used with 2-15 drives to create one bigger, faster one; or for data redundancy

    I'm using mine w/ 2 40gb drives and its pretty fast. How can anyone live w/o it ??
