Don't buy that piece of junk. Trust me, I've heard editors at my old job talk about it, it really isn't all that.

Hmmm, I haven't quite decided on the liberty yet. I'm stuck on the old school jeeps....
They are definitely cool looking, but stray from the rugged exterior I so love with my Wrangler...![]()

Man, I almost bought one of these things, but I must stay away from first year models!!! That's a huge no-no!!!! I've read the forum over on Edmunds and they have been having the normal first year model bugs and weird glitches. I'd give it AT LEAST until 2002 before I'd buy one and maybe tiill 2003, depending on how quick they fix the bugs.

Go for it, Brent ! ! !
Man, that Infinity is tight.
That Liberty is cool, but I prefer an older XJ (Cherokee) The Liberty design doesn't really appeal to me.
I agree with Blue Jetta's comments too...first year model cars are like the Beta test version....then next year, all the bugs and refinements are made.![]()
Chrysler has been doing a pathetic job in creating reliable 4x4's Talk to any of the v8 Grand Cherokee owners. The Wrangler have been POS's as well. Pity, the old CJ's and Wranglers were pretty good.

hmm
personally I'd prefer something like this

Cool lookin, but the front headlights make it look ugly from the front, almost like a bug.

but you can't go off roading in that, or at least, you'd be crazy to take it off roading.
ok
well for off roading go get the AMG M Class
ML 55 AMG
Engine AMG-built 5,439-cc SOHC 24-valve V-8. High-pressure die-cast alloy cylinder block, alloy heads.
Net power 342 hp @ 5,500 rpm
Net torque 376 lb-ft @ 2,800 - 4,500 rpm
Ugly, small, piece of junk. The cherokees were awesome.
Work: DQ
Comp: AXP 1600+, MSI K7T266a Pro2 RU, 512MB PC2100, GF3 Ti200 128MB
Lets take it a little further

Re.....Spect "walk"!
MacBook Pro 2.33Ghz, 3G of Ram, OS X
ALthough we all would love to own high price tag vehicles, pasting the Jeep without a better alternative would be unfair.
Nissan Exterra..... Far more reliable and affordable in the same price range.

I just can't get passed the lights. IMHO u-g-l-y.
I agree with Deus the exterra is a much better choice. (except for the 2002 with the round lights - Just looks crappy without the bush bar) Better price, better reliability.
Round = benz
Square = Truck
