Man I really miss Canopus.....back in the later Pentium/Pentium MMX days, they had a kicking Voodoo1 card...what was unusual about it was it had 6 megs of RAM, everyone else had only 4.
They withdrew from the US market a while ago...dunno if you can get them, but I just came across this from a link on Anandtech...

i'm pretty sure he can, I remember Canopus, they were GODS at the Voodoo line, I'm pretty sure if they want to be known again they will want some PR from hardware sites......

the specs seem to be the same as teh other tis, and whats so great about the cooling, i must be really tired but clue me in pls!
Those ram sinks look REALLY crappy tho, and the HS looks crappy too.....

it's expensive....almost double the price of other GF3's..but it's cool...Canopus was the bomb....they were really hot when I got my first computer....4 years ago
