I was kinda hoping he stayed JV for more game experience. Looks like that's not to be. This isn't a bad thing, but I'm not sure it's a good thing.

His first game of the season is tonight, so you'll know where I'll be.

15 and varsity? Impressive. 16 and JV here so I kinda know where he's coming from. But I say what minir basically says. If he can play at varsity level he should play for varsity. So I think it's fine.

Wow freshmen/sophomore playing for Varsity is very good! What position does he play? You must be proud of him

when i was in 6th grade i played hockey with 9th graders at their level, i honestly believe playing at a higher level gets u better prepared. after my first year playing with 9th graders i then got into my own grade level 7th at that point and felt i had an edge against the others, i was considered 2nd best at the worst part of teh year 1st the rest

he'll only learn quicker this way.

Sounds like your boy is off to a good start! ( I didn't know you had kids.. ) I hope he goes out and tears em all a new one and hands them their asses to them.
