    IE favorites

    If I formatt my drive how do I save my IE favorites?
    AMD T-Bird 1.2 GHZ
    MSI K7T266 Pro2
    256MB PC2100 Crucial DDR
    60 GIG 7200 RPM Maxtor
    60 GIG 7200 RPM Western Digital
    32 MB Nvidia TV Out
    Creative SB Live Value
    431 watt Enermax power supply (whisper series, but with 2 fans on this power supply it's still loud as a mofo)
    Using WIndows XP Pro

    when you are in IE,go to "file: then to "import and export" and it will walk you through it,like send it to floppy or zip or whatever.and export it there.you can save cookies this way too!

    then after the format,just go to the same tool in IE and import it back in! piece o cake!

    Once you have saved your favorites and My Documents, you might want to just leave them where they are and use Tweak UI to point your OS to them after the install.
