I used the free version for a lot of years but stopped using it about 5-8 years ago. I think paying $49 a year isn't a lot of bang for the buck. Personally I didn't think the free version was really necessary.
I decided to try it out. I was using the free version.
I updated a few drivers and put some running programs to sleep.
I can't see much difference yet and I really don't think I want to renew this for $49 a year.
Do any of you use C Cleaner Pro?

I would use the free version, and will turn off anything that unnecessarily runs in the background, including CC Pro I imagine. Just run the free version on demand.
Linux is user friendly, it's just picky about its friends...
