    MTU Set

    Hello ,
    I should set the MTU value in windows as the one in the router 1492 ?

    Yes, it is best to set your Windows MTU the same as the maximum external one, i.e. 1492 in your case. This theoretically reduces load on the router as it shouldn't have to repackage data frames.
    Linux is user friendly, it's just picky about its friends...
    Disclaimer: Please use caution when opening messages, my grasp on reality may have shaken loose during transmission (going on rusty memory circuits). I also eat whatever crayons are put in front of me.
