    Cool Ryzen 7000 series release !!

    Well it looks like today 9/27 is the day. NE seems have CPU and Mobos for sale. I'm really interested in seeing the Mobos and the specs.

    Intel also announced their 13th gen processors yesterday, 15% single-core, up to 41% multi-threaded performance boost, but they're not out yet.
    Linux is user friendly, it's just picky about its friends...

    I'm not seeing the previous generation of Ryzens dropping in price yet (or like I was hoping). I'm thinking stock may have been so low during the pandemic that there's not a ton of old 5000 series Ryzens laying around.

    i have a newegg wish list started for a new AMD build , then i see Intel dropping new 13900K in october, so that all is on hold for now, maybe black friday will be a good time to pull trigger LOL
    i stlll need to research DDR 5 memory some as well, looking hard at this mobo, but man prices are insane

    $500 mobos, ouch... I'd wait a bit.

    Actually the ASUS TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI 6E Socket AM5 is only $329. The mobos with an "E" after the X670 indicate "Extreme" models and usually sell at a premium. There really seems to be a smorgasbord of features and prices for this new series.
