Wow, seems there are just too many crazies out there, no values, no restraints, no respect for property.
On my weekend but I'll see if I can grab this to share.
Retail store with tons of 36+ interior cameras and approaching 10 exterior.
We use them all day.
Dude ripped off the Safeway next to us with a hand basket and 3 bottles of liquor.
Took off at at high speed and came whipping down the breezeway between our store and out shipping department.
Breezeway ends abruptly with 4 concrete steps, followed by a paved loading dock alley.
Small down ramp on the side, but this guy either didn't know his route or was too high to remember it.
Launched off the steps, carrying the basket in one hand and only controlling the bike with the other.
Completely ate it, crashed hard, hopped on his bike and took off.
Broke 1, 2 still good.
Couple of kids were happy about a minute later, cause he took off without grabbing what he stole.
Wow, seems there are just too many crazies out there, no values, no restraints, no respect for property.
Linux is user friendly, it's just picky about its friends...

Yeah, what is it in your area...where there's such high drug abuse? Doing a quick Google looks like Humboldt County averages about 3x higher than state of CA average.

Guinness for Strength!!!
Good lord, no respect for anything anymore nowadays it seems.
Wasn't there but we have an entire directory, backed up every 24 hours, of security footage. And 36 interior cameras.
Whenever we have a shoplifter or threat I make a point of making sure every employee sees it so they can give a heads up if they even walk by the store, much less come in.
I agree the phone photo would have a good impact, it just gets kind of spur-of-the-moment when it happens cause it normally happens fast.
Double check what you saw and get out there.
Short of the damn street kid who came in holding a phone, a wallet, and a kitten, kept shifting stuff and weird arm angles.
Grabbed a harness and carried it with her phone and wallet. It got smaller and smaller during the 35 minutes she spent wandering around, and she kept shifting hands etc...but eventually the harness was not visible and was under her wallet in the hand. Still couldn't call her on it.
40+ minutes in, she finally transferred the wallet and harness into her pocket, bought a couple things, and I got it back the second she walked outside.
B*tch wasted a couple hours of my time between trying to track her for that long, then archiving different angles.
Her taking the harness, then in a different view you can still see it but it's getting smaller, then gets transferred under the wallet.
Another view, talking to an employee and you can make out 1" of the red fabric, employee never knew she had it.
Finally another angle of her putting them in her pocket.
Then making the purchase and reaching into said wallet but not removing or paying for the harness. Argued over the price of $100 worth of stuff (price tag is right f there), and bought maybe $3 worth.
Final clip is me telling her I want it back.
"What harness?"
I pointed to the pocket, got it back. But yeah, we've got years worth of some crazy stuff archived.
