What browser are you using?
When I use Google Chrome, I use uBlock Origin...
I hope that you are doing well, and your kittys too!
I have one on my other Dell PC but can't remember what it's called. I tried a few of them tonight. One didn't work, one has a popup in the lower right of the screen telling of the ads it blocked on every page, and another one wants donations.
Now I'm getting ads sent to my gmail inbox.
I'm using Google Chrome on Win 10.
