In Germay the whole vaccinating process takes a little longer.
At first the over 80 year olds and people with high risks, caused by diseases got vaccinated. Also people with important jobs like the police, nurses and doctors got treated privileged. Now more and more people get vaccinated and they say that the prioritization should be removed by june so that also younger people without diseases can get a vaccination then.
We'll see if it will work like that.

I get the high priority vaccinations, but at a certain point you'd think they'd just open the gates and make shots available to anyone who needs/wants one.

Here, it's reported the young and un-vaccinated are the ones doing the most contracting and spreading.

Our county dropped to sub ten cases per day a few weeks ago for the first time in a year.

Cases soared into high 30's per day for the past week. Might put our whole county into a higher transmission rate and shut down what's just creeping open again, again.

Here in Southern California they can't even give them away. I'm constantly hearing on the News about another site that is open and ready to start giving shots. If I wasn't already vaccinated I think I could find a place and have a shot as soon as I could drive over. I'm getting the impression that anyone who is or was mobile and wanted one has already received theirs. It appears that now they're trying to reach out to communities where people might not have transportation to a site and stuff like that.

I survived the Moderna shots.

I took advil 5 hours after.

They told me to take tylenol.

There is no way I could take that garbage.

I would get the same affect if I chewed on two tic tacs. LOL.

I got Moderna a couple months ago also.

Aside from feeling like my arm was encased in concrete for a couple days, and some weird insomnia with second shot (lasted one night) I was fine.

All 3 vaccines hit my 15 employees different ways, most were totally fine, a few called out the next day but came right back the next.

Chewing on tic tacs works for me!

I had Pfizer, didn't have to take any Tylenol/Advil, but my arm was sore for a couple of days. My daughter felt sick and sleepy for about 24 hours after the second shot.

Humboldt County was one of the lowest case rates in CA for months after this started.

I think now we're the highest in the state, even compared to LA, SF, all the huge cities and counties.

We'd get bumped up 2 tiers to "purple" if they weren't changing their tier rules.

Already caught it when it broke out in the first instance, went to visit a friend who was living rough in a shack in the woods..

Saw him and said "You haven't got this thing going around have you?" he replied "no, throwing his arms around my shoulders giving me a hug!"

Two days later and yeah, hives rash break out and I'm coughing thick green spew-tum off my lungs and running a fever!

But once it was over and I was lucky because my lungs are a tar Pit from smoking 20 a day and I've already had MERS the Camel virus and a touch of TB, so my chest isn't the best place for any virus to think it's going to get a hold of me as I have holes in my lungs and recovered naturally from a strong immune response.

The upshot being I can't catch it again.. You'll only catch it the once! But you'll know about it when you do!

Delta variant seems to be spreading down in Florida, it is more contagious.. Death rates are very low, but I know a couple of vaccinated people that got it, even if Pfizer is supposed to be 88% effective against the new variant.

Just for the record... I'm pro vaccine and that's that. I'm glad to see many of the holdouts finally realizing that this is not a game and that it's more than just your feelings about it. It's just too bad that all these new cases are presenting themselves in hospitals and could have easily been unnecessary if they would have just gotten vaccinated earlier.

We had our highest case count today in our county...ever.

21,000+ new in Florida, the governor signs an order that any school implementing a mask mandate would lose funding.

This variant is scary effective at replicating.

It appears that some of the holdouts are finally getting the message that this is not a joke. And yes, those Florida numbers are pretty scary. I wonder how many of the people who have been using the excuse that it's not "FDA approved" are going to jump on the bandwagon once it is approved?

For God's sake people, just go and get the shot.
