The rest of you guys?
Done, part-done, eligible but waiting, don't want?
In Florida the governor opened it up to people 40 and older since Monday, 3/29. After a week (on April 5th) it will be open to anyone 18+, even 16+ for the Phizer shots.

I've had both Pfizer shots. First shot, just a bit of soreness in arm. Second shot was a bit worse. Slept like 14 hours that night. Had a bit of sore muscles and some weird joint pains the next day. Same the 3rd day, just not as bad.
A couple of things that I was told and read;
Do NOT take ANY pain or fever reducer (Tylenol, Advil, aspirin, etc...) BEFORE (on day of) the shot. Wait as long as possible AFTER taking shot, and then if necessary, take Tylenol (Maximum strength is OK) As per USF Health.
Having some recognized symptoms after taking shot is a sign that it the vaccine is working. Don't recall which site, however I don't go to "News" type sites, only medical/scientific...
YMMV, Good Luck!
My wife is in the 50+ group that California is opening up to. It wasn't supposed to be until tomorrow that you could make appointments and then I came across something that said they were going to start the appointment process early, as in now. I jumped on and got her an appointment for tomorrow. The appointments were going fast. I clicked on 2 of the times you could pick and by the time I clicked on them they were already filled. She gets her 2nd on the 22nd of this month
Very Happy!
Congrats Easto! Do you know which shot that she is getting?
March 18 2021 - got a shot of: AstraZeneca Covid19 Non-rep VV
First night no sleep with the chills and a headache.
For 3 days or so some digestive issues.
Feeling fine now. Scheduled for another shot in 3 months, but may be updated as there seems to be a glut of this vaccine with all the worry over blood clots. I've always had thick blood, and never bleed for long when cut. No clotting here.
Those who think this is all a conspiracy, think about this...
Do you actually believe hundreds of thousands of Doctors, lab technicians, politicians, and possibly a few 'crack heads' got together to deceive the public?
Well, maybe a few 'crack heads' did....
Norm, thick blood.. --> Alcohol is a blood thinner, dilutes it as well as Aspirine.
Ken, Pfizer created Viagra, if they can rise the dead, they can surely cure the living![]()

It was next to impossible to get one here for months either... They started opening it up slowly in March, for essential workers, teachers over 50, vulnerable people, etc. I was lucky to get one couple of weeks ago, but now I guess supply is catching up to where they can open it to everyone. It should start happening in other states soon.
It took us longer to get my wife's shot that it did mine. Same place, same procedure, just a LOT more people yesterday. They had increased the number of stations you drove up to in order to get the jab, but just with the sheer number of people it took us about 2 hours. The line kept moving and it was organized quite well.
There were no lines until it was opened up for more people last week here. When I went two weeks ago there were no lines at all, there were about 20-30 people in line and over 10 tables to sign up, go through the questions, 10+ stations for shots, etc. It took a bit over 30 minutes from the moment I walked into the building to the moment I got out, including the 15 min waiting period after the shot. There were no big lines in either the federal FEMA-ran site or the State-ran one.. There are more people eligible now and the lines are getting longer though. Good part is there are many more locations that have some limited availability with appointments that fill up really fast (Hospitals, Pharmacies, Publix supermarkets, State Universities, etc.)

When I received my 1st shot, I was sent to a large lady with a 'crew cut'. When she gave me the shot, she could see the look of surprise on my face and said, "I give shots to infants and babies"! I didn't feel a thing!
When I went for my 2nd, I was looking around. Lady asked if I was looking for someone. I said, "yes. I will scream and cry if it hurts"! She sent me to a lady that was as good as the first! I always get a sticker if I don't cry...too much!
