TCP Optimizer: Thank you!! [More Info In Thread]

Hello!

I just wanted to say thank you to the team that created TCP Optimizer, you have fixed an issue I have had for over 6 months now with your optimal configuration. I'll explain more in detail below.

I was having an issue where my internet speed would cut in half, or even worse when using any application that used the internet, may it be discord or a game, my download speed would drop dramatically, and this seemed to have started since Windows 10 1909, I have tried everything I could think of to fix this issue, I have a video of exactly the problem was, and I'll post that below along with what I've done to try to fix it, but the thing is.. TCP Optimizer fixed it! I just want to know why so in the future if this continues to be a problem and TCP Optimizer no longer functions/gets updated, I can fix it, or hopefully, Windows will have a fix for it by then.

1. Reinstalled Windows 10 1909, Reinstalled Windows 10 2004.
2. Updated AMD drivers chipset drivers, reverted, and used an older version of AMD chipset,.
3. Reset BIOS to see if some LAN settings got stuck.
4. Updated my LAN driver (Intel).
5. Disabled all power functions on the driver settings, including Load Offset.
6. Disabled QoS services in LAN, and modem, router.
7. Set modem in bridge mode.
8. Attempted another ethernet cable.
9. Connected directly to my modem.
10. Attempted to Disable autotuninglevel via net cmd.
11. Updated NVidia drivers, turned off freesync/gsync.
12. Turned power saving options off in windows, full performance.

Hello, welcome to SG and thank you for the positive feedback, glad the Optimizer worked that well for you. Not sure exactly which setting fixed it for you, could've been the default congestion provider, some buffer, etc.

All the settings that it changes are documented on the site, and the program also lists them when you hit "apply".. We also have a lot of tweaking articles on the main site, the TCP Optimizer just does all the main tweaks in a simple/quick form.
