    Bluetooth connection issues

    Any ideas why I can't get my old Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet to pair with a small Sony SRSXB2 Bluetooth speaker?

    Doesn't see it at all, even with wifi off and resetting both devices.

    Yet another power outage last night, this one due to a Prius taking out a power pole on a 3/4 mile straightaway during daylight.

    Power was off for 12 hours, trying to watch The Pacific on my tablet, but can't get them to pair.

    The Bluetooth may be bad on the tablet. I had a surface pro that wouldn't connect the pen. You can try to uninstall/reinstall the Bluetooth drivers..

    Is your tablet a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1? I have been trying to see if your tablet has a usb port, however all that I am seeing is the 'tab a'...

    If it has a usb port, you could get a usb to blue tooth adapter.

    Edit: found some old reviews (2011) for it however there appears to be many different models; honeycomb, Samsung Kies USB, wifi, different ram, etc... Can you be more specific on your exact model, pppppppplllllleeeeeeeeeaaaaasssssseeeee, with sugar on top!


    Edit, P.S.: Did you see the earlier companion 'Band of Brothers' mini series? It was great also!

    Hey buddy

    Will check on exact model of the tablet, doesn't have a USB port, has a proprietary serial to USB charging port.

    Band of Brothers? Love that series, and The Pacific, both are outstanding.

    Got the latest software update for it VS1.5.65.0

    If I try to run it off the tablet I get options of text/audio/video/image. None of which help.

    Update via WIFI on tablet, "No update available"

    Ran off PC, finished but nothing happened.

    Figure I'm doing something wrong, just not sure what.

    It appears to use Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, did you verify that your speakers work with that as I think current BT is like 4.1...
