Never mind. I finally got it.
I entered the code they emailed me.

I got my Brightridge Fiber Optic Internet and it works nicely.
I'm running a 10 year old Dell 960 with core duo and Windows 10.
At startup I keep getting an MS notice that my accounts need attention. So I enter my password for a hotmail account that I really don't even want or need, then they offer to send me a code via phone, and I select it to call me, but they never call. Then I selected it to send me a code via email, and was unable to enter it. Sometimes it's hard to get out of that page after I get on it. I have 2 MS email accounts. One I think I need to have for Win10 but the other one I'd like to delete.
Any tips on this? I have 2 gmail accounts now and I'm fine with it.
I like gmail quite a bit more than I thought I would.
Thanks.

Good that you got it. You don't really need a Microsoft account to get into Windows, but that's another story.
Keep track of your Microsoft account if you use it to log into Windows. If you ever need to do any data recovery (say you have a hard drive issue)...and/or if you get Bitlocker enabled (which it's doing by default now when you activate Windows on a MS account)..you'll need that recovery key.
