Wow, sorry to hear that. Hang in there. You always seem to bounce back.
I was working for ECS Refining for the last two and a half years...as of late Friday, the company has been forced by creditors to liquidate!

Sorry to hear.. Unemployment is low though, and you are a professional. Dust off the CV, keep positive, work at it and you will find a better job!

That sux man.
You will find a better job.
I have a phone interview for a temp with the county, those usually turn into permanent jobs as positions open up along the road...so I'm keeping my fingers crossed

There is no defeat, only the beginning of something new.
Knightmare endured many life changes the last 5 years..
I am stronger than ever
I've done a crap of systems development and integration. I maintained an erasure network for most of the time at my last job. But yeah, luck would have it that back in October, I was able to land a new job with an Irish company that is expanding into the ITAD market state side, they have facilities in Austin, Maryland, and Boston as well as the facility out here in Cali!

We had two facilities, one here in Cali and the other in Texas. 8 fully loaded racks with 36 bay Isilon servers per rack in each location. Each lab was pushing out 3K drives a day. The laptop area was pushing out 200 to 270 laptops a day.

I didn't realize IT Asset Disposition was such a big market, close to 20 Billion whoa.
ECS was one of the biggest, we had customers like Disney, Comcast, Bank Of America (small contract), Lockheed Martin and several other fortune 500 companies. Since they filed bankruptcy, several new companies have popped up. All the hardware that gets replaced has to go somewhere, some of the stuff is still band new still with all factory seals that sat on a shelf the entire time as a spare
