I was with another DDG last year when we sent an SM-3 after a ballistic target and made a skin on skin kill. Errrrrrrrrybody and their mother was on that ship.

Opinions vary. Tom doesn't like sheep. That's just wrong!

That was an SM2 Block 3.
We do test with dynamic missiles and dynamic target.

Yours or mine? Mine was an SM-3 Block IB against a medium range ballistic target during a damn hurricane (Ophelia).

Hi Philip! It is good to see you too! I'm living overseas again, but this time, no shooty-shooty places. There've been a few changes in my life in the last year. How's life treating you?

Uh Oh, "changes" sounds like a ball+chain or something similar... You don't have to disclose it in a public forum though, MadDoc may get jealous even if he has the security clearance.

I am fine, up in Jacksonville FL for ~10 years now, wife is teaching at the University, my girls are growing up fast (13 and an 18 now). Stella is first year at UNF, Graphic Design and CS minor, the little one is starting high school in the fall.
