    Eight hours at SFO

    Hi guys.

Going on a little trip in June.

I have an 8 hour layover at SFO.
Any place I can go for a couple hours or so?

They have this BART transit rail that can get you n ~30 min to Powell Street where the cable cars are in SF.. There are many places you can explore downtown close to that location in all the time you have I guess, depending on your interests.. Chinatown, Union Square are very close by... A bit further up north is Fisherman's Wharf/Pier39.
Linux is user friendly, it's just picky about its friends...

Mmm, Chinatown. I have been all over Chinatown in Manhattan along the southern part of the Island within the court district and have had some of the best Chinese food in my life. The only other Chinatown I want to go to is the one in San-Fran, I have heard great things about their Chinatown too.

Lived in NorCal for 23 years but never been to San Francisco.
Should be one of the best places to kill time: https://www.google.com/search?q=see+...utf-8&oe=utf-8

    Really...
Can't be that far from San Francisco..
I guess I kinda get it.. I lived in Misery for years bunch of places there, that I have never been.

Actually I would much rather have a shorter layover or another flight. Like the one I originally booked.. But airlines....

8 hours is really not enough to do anything substantial. You figure at least 1 hour to get out of the airport, then you're in South San and have a good 1/2 hour drive or commute into the city and by the time you're done you still have to get back to the airport a couple of hours before you leave. Don't try doing this on a weekday or during any peak hours. Actually, only having the 8 hours kind of sucks since it looks like it might be long enough, but in reality...

was fun... I think its a bit south 30 min maybe?
    Giants game maybe?
    stripper bar?

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box .
