    outlook 2013 pro plus issue

MS outlook 2013 pro plus was working fine until yesterday. Since then I am receiving the following error "Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC1A) : 'Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for additional assistance.'

I haven't changed any settings nor has my ISP. They have tried various things to no avail so I am hoping you guys can help me out.

    thx

Microsoft released a buggy patch early October.....either remove it, or run more updates because they released a fix end of Oct. Was related to Outlooks SSL libraries.

    I am getting this now

Task 'vze2fc3k@verizon.net - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Still getting original error as well.

Still related to Office updates.....was common with many antivirus brands that scanned mail protocols, uninstalling or disabling some AV gave the appearance of fixing it, but the Office updates fixed it.

Could try it...perhaps your ISP changed mail server settings in making it more secure.

You can get PST file from an OST file, if your exchange server is up and connectivity of ms outlook with ms exchange is working properly. You can get .pst file from that configured ost file that is a good ... which can easily convert Achieve the expected results after converting offline & corrupted ost file to outlook pst files. nothing can be better than this,SPAM LINK REMOVED BY SG STAFF
