Turned the internet off at my home to keep the relatives off their devices.

1 has their MAC address blocked permanently after transferring 1 GB in 1 hour.

Another holiday with everyone staring at their phones.

because of my mother in law passing,we did'nt go,but our kids hosted a thanksgiving dinner,and they put pics up on FB of the joyous gathering of family at TG,it was all sitting at the TG table and practically everyone looking down at their stupid phones ! LOL

I like my non internet non texting flip phone just fine !

Another thing that cracks me up... They'll bring some little speakers or use their phone to listen to music while they're here. I don't get it, I have what I would consider a pretty nice stereo setup in the living room, why don't they just ask if they can turn it on?

LOL I just put on comcast "sounds of the season" xmas music on both systems in the house and they have no other choice,unless FB is on

It was GREAT! About 20 minutes into the get together about 3 people pulled out their phones and started staring at them. My dad's wife says... "I guess everyone is playing with their phone so they don't have to talk". Everybody heard her and all the phones went back into the pockets.
