"Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker dead....car accident

From what I read earlier this morn, died as a passenger in a car crash. The car was a specialized Porsche model, V10 engine, capable of 205mph, only 500 made and really just for race circuits, not public roads. From the pictures of the remains of the car, looks like it was traveling way way over 100mph....

...sad, he was a father. According to the news he was on his way to a charity event that he organized.

Saw that in the paper this morning and like Dan i thought it rather ironic that what made him also took him away. yet he was a passenger this time.

    Young man, sad to see.

Sad but maybe now we don't have to put up with FnF sequels one on top of the other. The movies sucked IMHO.

They must have been really moving to end up like this and they where engulfed in flames after the car erupted.

Did someone put a gun to your head and make you watch them?

By all accounts, he was a really good person. He was into car racing, but raced on the track, not on the street. I don't usually feel sad about people I don't know dying, but this one kind of got to me. Way too young.

I saw a story on my local news last night,he had secretly paid for a ring set for a GI & his lady at a Santa Brabara jewelry store, and it was $10k !

and seeing he passed away on the way back from a Philippine benefit,

seems like he was a pretty cool guy.

and for what it's worth,I like his movies.

Carrera GT, 1300 made. Not really a car to mess around with on public roads.,

Walker went to Chile to help out after their big earthquake and then Haiti's too. Its a shame to lose someone like that.

It'll also be interesting to see what they do with the next Fast and Furious movie they were in the middle of filming.
