    The Iceman

    Great movie

About halfway though and it's really well done.

Just bought and read a biography on him a couple months ago.
    Richard Leonard "The Iceman" Kuklinski.

Convicted of 3 murders but the real tally is probably well into the hundreds.
Guns, cyanide spray to the face, cyanide sandwiches, rats, ice picks, knives, explosives, bats...

Very interesting if you're into mob history, some really gruesome stuff.

Not done with the movie yet but well cast and well acted so far.
The best part? I think I'll get to see David Schwimmer's character die, he's already pissed the mob off over a bad coke deal.

Not a bad actor, probably a good person, but always hated his roles. From Friends to Band of Brothers, always a schmuck.

    Not an action film.
Has a lot of hits, but it's based on the plot, not on gore.

Surprised at how well it's shot.

I wouldn't want anyone to be my cell mate, but yes, he would be very very low on the list Minir

I found it to be more about the character than the actions.
They could've focused a lot more on the hits he made, or on the ice cream truck guy, or even the rats (he used to tie people up in a cave he found, cut them a bit, set up a camera, then later watch the rats devour the people, little bite by little bite. The mob guys loved the videos).

But...that would be a different movie. I thought what they ended up with balanced his career with his home life, a bit of the mob aspect.
